Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome, that did not at all turn into a thread about Titans. My Titan was great. Seemed to (shutyomouf) more bottom end torque than the Ford, but the fit and finish wasn't as nice.

My truck is Red/Tan, with black leather interior, black carpet and dash. Rare? It was made in Kansas, shipped and sold in Arizona, owned there until 35k when the owner turned it back into the dealership. It sat for several months, and did not sell, then was shipped to Missouri to be put on a car auction. It sat for several more months before being bought by Carmax in Kansas. I was sitting at my desk here in TX, and was searching for a truck when a co-worker told me about Carmax. I searched, and found it in Kansas. I called the Plano, Tx Carmax, gave them my credit card info, and for $190, had it shipped to TX. I picked it up ten days later. It is everything I wanted in a truck. Four doors, four wheel drive, 5.4 liter, leather. Love it, love it, love it.

Scared my self on the way home. Didn't realize it had a built in subwoofer. Damn kids turned the bass up all the way. Nice.

So, is my color combo that odd?

 

I thought it was the same color as my 06 FX4. Red and Dark Gray. Which I thought odd since yours is a Lariat.

nice looking truck, do a gear swap and you'll love the low end oomph, e-fans, CAI/custom tune, shift kit, headers/exhaust and you're on your way to wanting a supercharger or turbo
