Target has some great polarized glasses for a decent price. I've had 3 pairs from target that have held up great.

Hmm might head there myself, going to the river with friends. Reminds me of my old days, lol I agree 10x about them ending up in the river somewhere!

06, I think you're talking about Chums.

Buckles, I just picked up a set of Costa Del Mar Cin's.... But they're not cheap. My aunts and uncles bought them for me for my birthday.

everyone in bama called em croakies or croachies i dont remember. but ya the things that go on the glass and go behind your head so they dont fall off.

i have had a pair of costa's for 3 or 4 years. their great glasses. usually can get $50 off if you wait for sales. think i paid like $110 and they have the polarized lenses.

get some Oakley's or Spy's. I have had many many pairs of sunglasses and those have been the best, a but pricey but for sure worth it. Its nice having polarized lenses too because it takes the glare off things and just makes the world look better. Especially being at the river its nice having polarized lenses because it makes it way easier to see the sand bars so you can avoid riding up one lol.

Ive got oakley juliets and love them. Sure there expensive, but it makes me take care of them. Ive had them for about 10 months now and havnt had a problem yet. I have a yamaha thing that goes around your neck and attaches to the ear pieces of the glasses that way if I fall off the jetski, they will float. My dad and I have used it for years and havnt lost a pair yet. If they can withstand getting thrown off the jetski at 40, then tipping a tube over shouldnt be a problem. Lol.

spys , smith optics are good alittle costly but you might want light bronze polarized for moderate sunlight or the gray for really sunny days I like the bronze lenses , once you go polarized its hard to wear anything else!!

its mandatory for me to wear eye protection... im in the army. i have to wear them here in the states any time im driving a govt. vehicle (humvee and up), or any time im training in full battle rattle (vest, helmet, etc.). in iraq i had to wear them any time i was outside the wire.

ive gone through a few different brands. i dont like the cheap issue glasses (no name bug eye uglies), and i have like 6 pairs of the nice issues (oaklies - i forget what brand but you can google it).. they are ok but they have that look like dog the bounty hunter glasses or whatever. i wear them because i have so many pairs, so im not worried about sitting on them, losing them, scratching them with whatever im using- wether its a machine gun, or tanker bar, lol, you name it and ive somehow scratched up glasses with it.

the best glasses ive worn so far are the E.S.S. brand.
the model i like is the CDI model.

i like them because the lenses are really easy to change out. they make any color you can think of. and i really like the way they look.

these glasses arent some cheapies you have to baby because you dont want to scratch them up and throw away, or some 300 dollar oaklies you dont want to scratch because you cant afford to replace them..

they are tough, and they are built to take shrapnel.

just in case your looking for something to keep for a while.

I have Oakley M-Frames---a little old or retro, but the fit behind my umpire's mask and they do a nice job while I am cycling. For me, the lenses change out quickly and eadily, and they have a wide variety of lenses to shoose from.

costa del mar's all the way. i own 2 pairs and they are really nice. just put a floating thing on them and you won't lose them. i wear mine on the boat everyday and they have been put through hell and still hold up. they have a lifetime warranty so if they break or something you can send them back and if the warranty doesn't cover it a small fee to fix them will. i know people who have broken them and warranty didn't cover it and it was only like $20.
