Wink Mr. Webmaster, who was the first?

So Steve,

Now that the board has been up and running and thriving for quite some time, who was the first registered user other than yourself and what was the topic posted?

Very interesting question! I took a look through the "member" files and it looks like the first person to register used the screen name "007 Mike." He only made three posts and none since April of 1999...I'm not sure what the first post was (it's probably long gone after few of the early board prunings that my ISP's required).

"98XLT" was one of the first to register (Feb 99, #13) and continues to be active today...

Steve

I regestered a long time ago too, it doesn't even show when I registered on my information.

Chris.
For some reason, some of us pre '99 people don't show our start date ... unless your initials are JD.

I was the second one here. The first guy here had posted on every page and I don't even think he drove a Ford (I suspect rice!)
Some Oriental guy named 'Hop to'.

As I recall in 007 Mike's first post he was wondering if his piston slap may have caused his door cracks.

Wink

Fast46Triton ® ,

Was suspicious that you were an imposter 'cause you were back two weeks and didn't "flame" me. My feelings were hurt!

Now I'm sure it's the ol' Fast46Triton and feel much better now that I have been "flamed!"

Nice to see you back ......
