It's not my job to run the train.
The whistle I don't blow.
It's not my job to say how far,
the trains supposed to go.
I'm not allowed to pull the brake,
or even ring the bell.
But let the damn thing leave the track,
And see who catches hell!

Man oh man has it been a long time since ive posted on here. Got busy with work and just hadnt been around. Hopefully i can get back into this place (kinda started to miss it lol). Anyway, i've been furloughed since may 5th, 2009 But thats the railroads and the downside of seniority (there are many upsides of it also and is the reason i may be able to return to work soon).

Things are slowly picking up with the rail industry which should mean the rest of the economy should follow. They say the rails are always the first to show a change when things pick up.

I had a whole lot of fun workin out there in the short time i got to do it. Never really took any pics though (no time and didn't like the idea of losing my job over it). My paperwork is supposed to be mailed out tomorrow to get a return to work physical . So hopefully that works out. I'm looking to go back to work in the town of lafayette indiana. My home terminal is completely screwed for the time being so hopefully i can go to lafayette and just kinda ride the rest of the storm out there and make a little money doing it! The fact that Purdue is in Lafayette with all those pretty little college girls runnin around doesn't hurt anything either lol
