Information on TSB's
I'm posting this here cause the saftey/maintenance board doesn't seem to get as much activity.
I'm trying to locate information about certain TSB's for my 99 4.6 XLT. I have the summaries from the NHTSA website and Alldata.com seems to missing quite a few. Are there any other sites that list the entire bulletin or are there any mechanics out there with access to OASIS that can respond to my post?
I'm speciffically interested in the following TSB's
these are NHTSA's numbers)
1: TSB #99124
sequence #644
date 9906
component: Powertrain:transmission:auto
summary: subject pertaining to a "clunking" noise heard during a 4-3 coastdown while decelerating from 30-20 mph.
2:TSB# 996804
sequence # 876
component: visual systems: mirrors
summary: concerns outside pass or driver mirrors shaking at highway speeds
3:Mirrors has a second TSB with a different #
TSB# 9913072
sequence # 901
same summay as #2
4:TSB# 8455
sequence # 128
component: suspension:control arm:lower
summary: some vehicles may exhibit a "popping" noise from lower control arm.
5: Lower control arm also has a second TSB with a different # and same summary
TSB# 14029
sequence# 129.
And BTW I have done a search on these topics and I have gone to the dealer to ask if they can look them up but they are always reluctant,too busy or otherwise unhelpful and/or unwilling to assist a CUSTOMER!
So, I appeal to the humanitaian nature of my fellow F150online members to aid and assistance.
Any one who can help me get information about these TSB's or point me in rhe right direction I would sincerly appreciate it.
