ZRacer, I liked your idea about the qitters forum. I started one. I think it will work. One of the biggest drawbacks I've always had quitting is I had no one to help me through it. My stepfather smokes three packs a day and my mother smokes around 1.5-2 packs a day. I am feeling the effects of it too. I can't run like I could just a few years back. I am only 27, I need to quit.

I still feel that the lawsuit is wrong. I still feel it is wrong to impune the rights of people. I also feel that if everyone is soooo damn crazy about outlawing smoking, they are going about it the wrong way. Encouragement and education is the key. This lawsuit and anti-captialism is gonna get us nowhere. We are asking for another black market epidemic. Attention Drug dealers: get ready for the biggest market you have ever known. Cigarette junkies will rebel and buy it from you at inflated prices whenever it gets outlawed. We won't legalize and regulate drugs and it is making you rich. When the day comes that cigarettes are outlawed you will get even richer. And laugh even harder.

Seacrow- I couldn't agree with you more! I'm 26 and I really enjoy life, I don't want to be dead at 50. It's tough though!

You know, this whole tobacco lawsuit disgusts me. It's pretty sad that we live in a country where no one is required to take responsibility for what they choose to do. I don't care if the companies covered stuff up. Everyone has always known smoking wasn't something to make you healthier. What's worse are these commericials about the target market. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who would smoke just because of advertising is a pretty weak-minded individual and if they croak from smoking, sweet...natural selection. I don't smoke, but I sure don't believe in taking away peoples right to smoke.
