Hey eph1fifty !!! Question???
Hey eph,
What kind of info can you give me on the light bar you have. I really like the way it it was built. Where did it come from? How much? Any problems yet? Let me know

My 2000 F-150
If it looks good
you'll see it
If it sounds good
you'll hear it
If it's marketed right
you'll buy it
But..if it's real
you'll feel it

Hi Spargo2
Well I work for that company, I'm a graphic designer and work in the R&D department. I've been wanting a lightbar for ahwile, so I developed one for SportRack. It is straight forward, using an existing bar and using special metal brackets for the lights.
The product should be out by fall and the price, I don't know yet. But it will be cheaper than what you will find on the market for sure...
The problems that I have found so far is the hook system sort of damages the rubber on the door. The damage is superficial and the rubber reshapes itself once the rack is off but on my truck and after some trails that will bend frames the rubber has a little tear in it. Nothing is leaking though. And it is not as bad as you would think. But just to let you know how much crap my truck goes through: My cab is all scratched because of the box touching it (lots of flex), lost a rubber fender wall because of a branch ripping it off, broke a mudflap, lost part of my transmission, my steering is making wierd noises after a little jump, a leaf spring is about to pop out!, etc...
I think during normal use the rubber would be okay
The light bar will be at the SEMA show this year...
thanks
