Last Sat (7/8), I was driving back thru Round Rock. I passed the Antique Mall of TX off of I-35, and there were a bunch of people and a variety of vehicles (cars/trucks, classic/new) in the parking lot. Anybody know what was going on? I saw the same thing a few weeks ago, too. Is this a regular event? I might take the Lightning by if it is.

WiteSVTLite, That is a regular happening every Sat. night. All the hot rods and such show up and show off there cars and trucks. It's been going on for years. I believe that next weekend when we have the Texas Heatwave Rally we will stop by there. Speacking of that have you checked out the info on the Texas Heatwave Rally in the Events Threads??

Mumbly, thanks for the info. I didn't realize it was weekly thing, let alone going on for years.

As for the Rally, yes, I've been following the threads relating to it. I won't be attending, but I might stop by the Mall that Sat night.

 

Yep I can remember going up there in one of my first lowered truck the year I think was 1990. There was not that many cars and trucks then, but we had fun. Hey send me a email and we can give you some numbers to get ahold of us the weekend of the Heatwave.
