Tinting Cost

Hey guys,

I was wondering if ya could tell me how much you payed to have your windows tinted. I am calling around gathering some prices and they range quite a bit. Not sure if it is the quality of the shop or what.

I am looking to have the the sides at 20%, and back at 15% then a 20 or 25 % strip across the windshield. Oh by the way I have a supercab 05 fx4. I wish I could go dark but here in NY by law it is 70%.

Thanks,
Ryan

my friend paid $145 for all windows on his screw. he limo'd the rears and 35's on the front. i paid $80 for my fronts, i had to pay like $15 extra to go illegal, only shop that would go illegal for me so i had no choice but to overpay

$0.00, I bought the truck with 35% on the side and 20% on the back. Now that me and my buddies car club is sponsored, we can get it for the low price (sarcasm) of $35 a window.

Ok that is about the range they have been giving me. Is the tinting process hard or can anyone decent shop do. Basically paying more doesn't get you much more?

Thanks

its really not hard, and you get a warranty so if a bubble does show up, they will have to fix it. just find a shop with the best price and the best tint. make sure its lifetime warranty against fading so it wont turn purple

Good shops out here charge $60 for two side windows, $20 for a strip. I think it was like $110 for me to get my back glass and front sides tinted.

I paid 140 (not really a deal) for 15% all the way around, no strip because it will just annoy me, but it would have been free. Quality stuff with lifetime warranty.

I paid $100 even in cash to get 20% 3M tint all around. Already had 20% on the back too so now it's 5% rear and 20% front. Had to pay cash no receipt because the legal limit here is 33%.
