Guess you don't care nothing about tackyness.....guess now it's all about out doin everyone else...Just where do you plan on puttin the extra 3?? Good luck in gettin em all mounted..... I stopped with 4 Daylighters on the front for the reason that mounting anymore are gonna make it look bad, that's why I added the 5x7s, gives it a better look without over doin the front end. I figure just two more 5x7s for the front, that are legal to drive with is enough on front for me, but you gotta do what you fill ya gotta do.

That's ok, cause when it's all said and done, I'm still Mr. Daylighter, Lite Brite, 2 Bright 4 U, Second Sun, Lazer Beam, The Heat Upon the Night Sky, Eclipse on wheels, portable runway, A strong brute light force for which I provide light for my fellow F150s owners...

I guess it's good to be a trend setter...

Lite Brite? Just doesn't sound mean enough Mudder, sounds more like a draq name lol.
Back to the topic, I just helped a friend put ona light bar and 4 daylighters on his Jeep. I think I'm starting to get the itch to buy the roll bar to get my satisfaction too.

Cool

Mudder! Want to be bright? get some HIDs, 600,000 candle power per pair. Scrap the 4 daylighters on the push bar and get 4 HIDs (KC makes those too) I know they are very $$$$ but if you want to be the best of the best of the best!!!

Are you crazy enough? That is the question!, email me and maybe I can set you up with KC, maybe...

Nah, $1800 is just crazy, I'll just stick with what I got, I think it gets the job done alright. On July 15 KC is releasing the new "Slim Lite" series. They are 130 watt and look pretty cool. The plan is to get a pair of those and mount them on my roll bar facin to the rear. As a matter of fact me and dad are talking about this right now as I type. So two of those to the rear, then two more 5x7's in front should hold me over for now, until we re-design a new bar for the roll bar and add 6 up there. Cause right now I'm thinkin that 10 Daylighters, 4 Longrange lights, and 2 longrange lights to the rear is good enough.....for a while. I mean it's not like a lot of people can say that they have 20 lights on their truck. But hell I do know that more batteries are gonna be involved in the project some where LOL

Jon, nah, because I have a full machine shop, and a genious for a father who can make brackets for me to hold 20 if I wanted....It's not like I'm gettin rid of this truck any time soon....and I'm not goin broke.....so more additions WILL come.

"Every light on the truck is on, the interstate is a bright as the crack of dawn, I-35 looks like runway lights, it's kinda like noon in the dead of light, cause every light on my truck is on....."

Those of you who listen to country know the song

Mudder-
Have you thought about contacting KC with a picture of your truck, and see if they want to inlcude it on one of their brochures? Now that would be a way to get the F150online name out there. Just an idea....
I know that you don't like Hella lights, but that is what I have, and they are bright with just a 55 watt bulb, and have everyone blinded, so I was thinking about adopting the name "North Star" as it is the brightest star.....

That is exactly what I wanna do. I'm gonna take some good pics of my truck and send them in. I'll take a few so they can pick out what they think is best. I will also ask them what they think about cost price, and including my truck in brochures and maybe a possible sponsorship with them. Hell, ya never know. eph1fifty, think this will work, is this the right way to go about it?

Yes! KC came to us because we have a booth at SEMA with a few trucks... I sort of got a plug there. They are really proud of the new Slim Light series, so they may ask for you to use those? The hard part about sponsorships right now is they are preparing for shows (giving lights to big corporations) I think, maybe, If I could get a way to hook you up with that Ron dude. You could get something, its not like you JUST want a bunch of free lights. You have proven this by allready buying the lights. You do have the best selling truck and it IS REAL COOL. If you send me an email, I will send it to RON as an attachment. They must get hundreds of emails about this sort of thing, so it has to be worded just right! And with our company letter head.

All in all they want exposeur, if you go to shows etc.. that will help. Asking a company for products in exchange of photos only will most likely not work! I am in that marketing group and I got some stuff for my truck because it is in a lot of catalogs and on packaging. I will mention the company in question on the catalogs and on the installation manuals, add a link to their site from our company's site. My truck is also used for local shows... EXPOSEUR is the word you want to use. I would show some pics of your truck in shows, as many different shows as you can. I say it is worth trying... why not? The worst case scenerio is that they will simply say no. Better knowing anyway. But I think you may have a chance, thats why I don't mind using my name for you.

Just don't tell them I got Hella LOL!!!!

take care
SG

Hi MNFORD99, I got Hella Too!!! Didn't pay for anything hehehe. Thats what happens when you work for the aftermarket accessory group.

I had a choice KC, Hella, PIAA. I took Hella because they don't weigh too much and for only 55 watts its still pretty damn bright! I need to use my truck on night runs up to 8 hours so I don't want too much drainage on my battery...

You will find my truck in our catalogs 4,000 plus per year. My truck is on some packaging also. Oh and 4x4 Extreme is using photos of my truck on their pamphlets and the web site http://www.4x4extremeoffroad.com

MUDDER! You go all the way, man, thats cool! I think you can get a break from KC, make an email with pics of your truck in the shows, make a pic with all the trophies on your truck. And ask them if they could get you some more lights or at the least cost price. the Marketing director Ron (If I remember) is pretty cool...
