Raoul: still no tool box!!!! The last time Spartan e-mailed me, he indicated that he liked the tools and would send me some $$$. Would you say "the check's in the mail" real loud because that's about as close as I've gotten to it, would be to hear you yelling it I'm hoping like crazy that he's coming to the VA meet. Then all of us can gang up on him (please don't touch his truck as I still have feelings for it)

Just the Usual Stuff

I just got my truck, so I haven't sorted out what I'll carry in it (or where). So far, paper-work (reg., ins., manual) and tire-pressure guage in glove box. Small 1st aid kit (aspirin, band-aids), a three cell Maglite, and a 2 and1/2 inch, stainless S&W .357 magnum in the center console (hey, this is "gun country"). Maps, clean shop towels and umbrella in the side pockets. I need to figure out a place for a small tool kit (fuses, vise-grips, duct-tape, etc), which will probably be under the rear seat along with the folded sleeping bag, canteen of fresh water, and one MRE (beef stew).

Oh, and of course for luck, the teddy bear dressed in his biker leathers (a gift from my lady-friend), who sits on the back seat (buckled-in, of course).

Boy this one was dragged from the depths!! But I'll play along

Hmmm, where to begin. . .

Glove box: The owners manual, insurance card, registration, tire gauge, pen, maintenance log, and a few business cards.

Center console: CD's, Altiod mints, chewing gum, wet wipes, change, a pair of gloves, and some fuses.

Overhead console: Sunglasses and a garage door opener.

Door pockets: A CB (one of those all-in-the-mic units), ice scraper, flashlight and a small fire extinguisher.

Under seats: California Car Duster and a pair of binoculars.

General inside cab: A box of tissue, garbage container, sun shade, blanket, a red white and blue pom-pom waving the American flag, a stuffed Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, a stuffed bumble bee, a bunch of hat pins stuck in the headliner, a glass star hanging from the visor, and a car chime hanging from the mirror.

I think that covers it!
