Dual fuel oven question

Hello.

Am in the process of overhauling my kitchen. I will be installing all new stainless appliances and will be purchasing a dual fuel stove. My questions is regarding the electrical part of the stove. Will I only need to run a 220 line to the stove, and this will power the oven and the other electronics or do I need to run a 110v line as well. I am fairly confident the stove only requires a 220 line, but was unable to see any in person as they are special order only at Lowes.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You only need 220v to it. I've never seen any new stove requiring anything but 220v.

And what's dual fuel? Is it 1/2 electric and 1/2 gas? Or when the power goes out, you can optionally use gas?

Rather confused... do you got a picture of it? Actually, if you got a pic, I can find the manual or install instructions.

If you are referring to the other electronics and the lights on the stove, you will only need to use one leg of the 220.

It was a new concept to me as well.

A dual fuel stove has a gas cook top and an electric oven. I am a little bit of a chef...cooking for the boys at the fire house has taught me well and I would like my new stove to be nice.

I prefer a gas cook top as it heats things faster and more evenly IMO. However a gas oven is a pain and is not very efficient. An electric convection oven is what I need, with a gas cook top. I have found several and am interested in a Frigidaire currently.

I was not sure if the electronics other than that of the actual oven required a 110 line. I know the oven will certainly need a 220, just wasnt sure if that also powered all of the other stuff, like the clock, oven light, etc...

After thinking it through it would be pretty silly to have both power requirements, I am fairly certain it only has a 220 line.

Additionally, if anyone has any experience with this stove, Frigidaire or a dual fuel stove, speak up!

Thanks!

Nice oven. Now I see what you mean by dual fuel. Good choice.
