Ford Tough
While driving to work this morning, I saw an economy POS that had just rearended an early 90's F-150. I didn't notice any thing on the truck, but I suppose there was bumper damage. The car had the grill and headlights smashed out, the hood was buckled and was jammed into the broken windshield.
f150's are the toughest trucks ever. In my bro's truck between me and him, we have taken out two street signs, he's hit 2 cars i think, and taken out a fence, and done some offroading in his 2wd, and still not even a noticable scratch on the truck. My other friend also has an f150 and he was in a bad wreck with 2 other cars(trans am and saturn), both cars totalled, not a scratch on his. Talked to a guy at the gas station with a extended cab 4x4. Said he had just totalled a mini-van and all he got was a ding in his bumper about the size of a small hail dent, not even noticable.
Yea I had a Buick Regal rear end me at the NY city toll plaza off the jersey turnpike. on his it broke the drivers side headlight, fiberglass surround and buckled the fender. Mine I used a razor blade to scrape the blue paint off the bumper.
Love this truck.

My buddy was driving his 84' Diesel F250 with an ag. bumper and hitch. Got rear ended by some yuppie in a Lexus SUV. Not a scratch to the truck, but the Lexus had the trucks hitch at it's windshield. It just torn a stretch right up the crumpled hood like it parted the red sea. Just obliterated the front end of this b*itch wagon. The sheriff was walking by with his flashlight and just shined it up on the rear window and saw his "**** on SUVs" sticker (all my friends had one made) and he just started laughing his butt off and had to walk away so the morons in the Lexus counldn't see him. Oh funny stuff. The driver wouldn't even apologize. Typical luxury SUV *****. Now, my F150 took out a light pole without a scratch, but that's another story and I'm sure it's under investigation somewhere.. lol

On the family farm, one of my grandpa's employees smacked a deer with a '88 F150 4x4 at about 50 mph. We replaced the trans cooler (302/AOD), right headlight assembly, the grille, and that steel piece under the grille. We pushed the front sheetmetal forward with a porta-power. Now the only thing wrong with it is the bumper is tilted -- otherwise it looks just like it did before the accident.
One of my best friends was driving a '86 F150 on an icy road and he lost control. He slid sideways and hit a steel post with the side of the pickup. No damage done (except to the post.)
