2000 Turn Signal Mirrors
Ive seen the Muth Mirrors which show an arrow when you put on your turn signal...but has anyone replaced their mirrors with the 2000 turn signal mirrors from Ford?
What they are, basically, is on the backside of the mirror (painted portion) sticks out slightly. If you're looking at the mirror side, where the plastic sticks out, it is a red light. This light, blinks when your turn signal is on....the arrows are no longer used. I'm wondering if these are available in the aftermarket or how much from Ford.

I notice the description of that in my manual, then everywhere I look there are arrows, so I just thought they goofed in the manual.
They don't even list them in their own Truck Accessories Catalog.
Good Luck

Hey Triton46,
I too have the 2000 turn signal mirrors and I think they're great! The best part about them is when your in your truck and they flash, you can't see them light up. Which is less of a distraction for me. Unlike the Muth signal mirrors with the arrow on them. Another plus that I find is that they extend out a bit further, which enables people behind you to see the flashers on the mirrors better if you're towing something.
I think your best bet is to go to your nearest Ford dealer and check out the parts department. They should have all the information you'll need, I'm sure. I'm thinking the 2000 mirrors "may" be a little cheaper, since they don't use all of those tiny bulbs which make up the arrows, that are on the Muth Mirrors.... could be wrong though. I've seen the Muths advertised for $200, but I haven't seen the 2000 signal mirrors advertised anywhere yet.
Best of Luck....
