Speaking of rules, where is the official rule book? All other sports have a set of published rules that everyone has access to except NASCAR, why?

Don't even get me started on how stock these stock cars aren't.
NASCAR has never published a rule book for the public to see. Never will. That's what you get with a family owned company.

If you dislike so much about NASCAR, then why do watch it and participate in this thread?

I agree that they are both legends and I'm not saying that Sr. wasn't a great driver. I'm just making the point that why is there still trailers devoted to a guy who's been dead for 9 years at todays races. Kinda fanatical if you ask me. He was great but not godlike.

You missed my first post where I said,
I honestly tried to watch NASCAR a while back. This entire thread is the perfect proof of my problem with it, there aren't clear cut rules. Until I see an official NASCAR rule book on a stack of rain tires they are no more legitimate than the WWF.
I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I gave it an honest shot. However, to be a real, honest sport one needs rules that everyone knows. NASCAR lacks this. Because of this I stopped watching it a while back. I just happened to pop into this thread and what y'all were discussing/arguing about was the a direct result of my biggest issue.

At least Wrasslin' is honest about themselves.

Fanatical. That's why they're called fans.

Anytime someone dies in a sport, it kind of elevates their status.. Sr was pretty deserving of this just because he was actually successful.. Sean taylor too
