Post new chat.

Is everyone aware that you must open a new browser window if you want to surf and chat at the same time.It happened to me several times that someone joined (I was alerted by audio)left a message and some time later disappeared from the room (probably surfing on f150online) and never came back.

It is clearly posted as a disclaimer on the chat's main page (just above the login button) and has been there for a couple months...it happens as a result of Java's flakiness and not this chat server in particular...

Hmm, I don't know! Considering that is UNIX's (or Linux) way of redirecting someone to their "home" directory, you would think that applications that run on UNIX (Linux) would support it...I'll check it out.

Copying the webadress with a ~ sign in it works fine.
Typing an adress with the ~ sign still doesn't work, checking my keyboard configuration now.
Works fine on my other computer though.
Keyboard configuration is different here.

Steve,

Problem is fixed,it was caused by the ~ key on my computer keyboard. It seems you have to hold that key a little longer then the others.Why.? I don't know.It has probably a defect.
