Talking HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?

I'm getting new tires for the Explorer I just bought (used). This truck is mine from high school and just got it from my parents. This is it's second set of Firestone ATX. Not bad tires but I'm looking for something different this time...and cheap?

What is the best cheapest tire? This is going to be a second car so Im not putting alot into the tires. Thanks!

Cooper or Continental are usually decent and are cheap.

Firestone ATX? Jump over to an Explorer site, 4x4central.com I think, and search or inquire on that topic! A friend of mine had similar experience with them. A blown rear tire at Interstate speeds on an SUV can be deadly. Blowouts were a thing of the past. Until...
