First of all, I am not jealous of an artist that truly has something to offer. These new girly and boy bands can only sing, and quite frankly, the singers at my church can out-sing out-write and out-play them. As far as professionals go, there aren't many women that can really rock like Pet Benatar and Heart anymore. If I was going to be jealous, I would be jealous of those two. Most of them nowadays are lame, whining, demanding, high maintenance b!tches. If thats what you like, GO FOR IT.
There are a couple girly/boy band tunes I currently like, but that will pass. No I don't care what they look like, (I'm not attracted to blondes) so don't even suggest I like one of the 'boys'.

I listen to the radio all night and lame music IRKS me. I really hate 'men' singing those 'I am PW'ed & hoping to get L'd' songs!! Too bad Ford doesn't have a 'lame music' filter built in to the radio. When a song comes on that has a slow beat or a singer starts whining... 'Poof', 'Next'!
OK I think have it all out of my system now. BYE BYE BYE!

I know of Britney Spears. I have an 11 year old daughter. It's a formula that works. Rather than compete with the regular music artists, go after the pre-adolescent, bubble-gum crowd. Make the parents provide the market. Then when you've made your mark, expose your bellybutton, remove your bra and go after the old men in pickup trucks market.

I also have a 20 year old daughter and went through the same thing with 'New Kids On The Block'.

p.s. I'm partial to Bob Marley but, he hasn't put anything out in a while.

 

All you people who are even coonsidering listening to BS have some problems. Even looking at her is questionable. I'm a teen and think that she is a definite hottie but after a second you start to realize how slutty she really is. That bothers me. And after looking at her for more then a few seconds you begin to get a song of hers popping into your head. And that is deadly.
