I've heard of Cobra Mustangs, Cobra Jet intakes, Vipers, ect...But a cowsucker diesel. That shocked me when I opened the hood to work on my '89 F-250 diesel.

I think I know what the problem is, there is a huge snake on the intake. Removing the snake should solve the problem.

This thing was there when you opened the hood? That would freak me out!

 

Maybe it's a want-a-be "COBRA"

Snakes usually look for some place warm, like an engine. Also watch for cats. How he crawled up there is what I would like to know. In the late fall, I always see snakes, tarantula's and other odd creatures on the highways. I try to run em over.

 

Spargo2 - if you remove the snake the vacuum leak will go away.

By the way - nice new belt you have there....
