My Truck Got Hit Today... =(

Yup i got hit this morning. sad day.

my tail gate was down at the time wen i got hit so thats why it got all messed up too. took it to the shop today they said they will have an estimate by tomorrow. my grandfather who used to do that kind of stuff estimated about $7000.
it needs a new driver side rear panel, a new bumper, the tail gate is messed up, might be repairable though. and the bed is all un-aligned so they have to pull it off and re-set it.

Geez, this is happening more and more lately. I almost got clocked by a guy in a brand new Tundra as I was leaving for work this morning.

Glad it wasn't too serious.

Nice truck BTW

What kinda car hit you? Thought youd be a little better off cuz your height.

Note: Also, make sure to replace your dropped ball hitch. It looks bent in the picture. And to check your receiver.

yea it would have been a lot worse if i was not lifted. and it was a toyota camry that hit me she got rear ended and pushed into me. and yea that pic is deceiving haha the hitch did not get hit. it is not bent at all. i don't know why it looks like that in the pic though. i did notice it and went and looked at my hitch haha.

Glad to know that you are ok, but it sucks not having the truck for 2+ weeks. By any chance is the hitch manufactured by " Buyers " ?

I got rear ended last week... no damage to my truck, but over $1000 smacks for her car's bumper.
