Question Good points for buying a Ford ....

A buddy which is a Chevy fan is looking for another vehicle. I figure that he will probably stay with Chevy even with my heavy hitting on facts and figures for Ford. I would like everyone that has ideas to convince him to switch over to the good side of the force, to leave them here and I can then print it off and show him that it is not just me blowing hot air, that in fact Ford is the only way to go. Thanks guys & gals.

Cool

Well, 34 years and running in Canada for the best selling pickup. Has out sold Dodge, 3 to 1 last year. Does anyone have the figures for the States ???? I hope that this list will continue to build.

Ya can't tell people what they don't want to hear. If he doesn't WANT a Ford, then he doesn't DESERVE a Ford.
Popularity means nothing to me, I would have got mine if I was the only one on the Planet who liked it. In fact I tend to be more suspious of popular opinion, so please don't use that as a selling point because Ford is so much more than popular.

All I can say its a free country and he can buy his chevy if he wants and he can switch over to Ford if he wants. At least tell him to test drive the Ford before he buys his chevey that might be just enough to make him switch over to Ford. Thiers a guy I work with thats a big chevy man he told me he might buy a Ford next time as he has ridden in a few on long trips in a buddy of his and said his back wasn"t hurtung when he got out of the Ford like he would on the chevy saying the Ford has more comfterble seats than his chevy.

Absolutely Positively let him buy the Chevy. If he buys a Ford because of your say so any time something goes wrong with it you'll get the blame for it. You'll never hear the end of it. If he buys a Chevy and it turns out to be a piece of cr*p, you can make fun of him and HE will never hear the end of it.
