I went to Reno this weekend with a group of friends and had a blast. We made one pit stop on the way home:











I ended up buying a nice Carhartt jacket, a t-shirt, and some new turkey calls for spring season.

Cabela's is pretty cool to visit. We went to the new store in Post Falls, Idaho last year and I dropped a few hundred on fishing gear. I don't think we ever saw the entire store.

 

Only thing close to that around here we have is Bass Pro. I defiantly feel awe struck every time I'm in there. I'd love to visit one if I'm ever near it.

You should come visit the one out this way. It's currently the largest Cabela's store at over 250,000 square feet.

 

I love those places but we dont have any for hundreds of miles.

 

aaahhhhhh, Cabelas. When I was driving out to S. Dakota for Pheasant hunting this past November with my best friends and his dad, his dad was actually sad the Cabelas was closed at like 11:00 at night as we drove past the original location.

 

No pictures from the biggest little city in the world????

 

The Hamburg store is awesome. I've been there twice while working on a drilling job in Berwick.

esf - have you ever been to the Outdoor show at the Farm Center? It's going on right now. Incredible!

 

The Farm Show Complex out in Harrisburg? If so, no. I've only been there once for a car show.

 

That would be beyond awesome !!

You should check it out. The last time we went it took 2 whole days to go through. It's huge.

I love Cabelas. Living in NW PA, we usually visit the Wheeling, WV store since it is only about 3 1/2 hour drive. They need to put one in Erie. The Wheeling store is tiny compared to Hamburg.
