There is good news. Actually quite possibly GREAT news for Jeep ... that is IF the news from Source Interlink Publication media outlet JP Magazine is true (JP has been known to fabricate "news" in the past to make a good story).
I'll believe it when I see the press release from International.

I read that they killed everything except for Chevy, GMC, Buick and Cadillac and sold Saab and Hummer. Don't have the link on me, though.
These "suggestions" are supposedly in the reorganization plan that they have to take to Congress to ask for more money. Not official yet ... With GM cutting back different models, what is the purpose of adding Dodge and Chrysler?

For what it's worth...that was the April 2009 issue. I'm with Quintin and Ranger81. I'm pretty sure that magazine puts a lot of "April Fools" in that month. However, it is a valid argument with GM wanting to keep the Hummer. It could be sweet if true.

maybe Jeep will pull the minivan motor out of the new wrangler and stick a straight 6 or small V-8 back in it....
