Question Wheel well width?? Help, please...

I am not near my truck (about 750 miles away in fact ) and I need a measurement. If someone could please measure the distance from the front of the bed to the back (inside) and the distance between the wheel wells (smallest width), I would really appreciate it.

Vocaire, I don't have a tape measure on me but, I can ballpark a shortbed with the tailgate up. Six and a half foot bed length (78"). Width, four feet between the wells and five foot overall.

For the price of fifteen feet of 2x6 lumber you can use the whole five foot width. There are three slots on the bed sides to get your load above the wells.

78" front to back, tailgate up like Raoul said.
50" from wheel well to wheel well.
Basically a 4x8' sheet of plywood fits with tail gate down.
