That sucks big time I'll be glad when Bill is out of office and hope Bush beats Gore in the fall so we can turn things around for the better.

I agree we need to turn things around for the better but Bush is not the answer. As a Texan, let me tell you he is just a little rich boy who is running for president as if it were some kind of fraternity prank. (What was he doing in the seventies? Sniff, sniff.) Our assumed presidential choices in the Democrat and Republican parties are crap. Bush is a complete idiot and I don't trust or like Gore. We need a viable third party to turn to in times when we are given such miserable choices... I am strongly considering supporting the libertarians.

That article is a little too simplistic, IMHO, it fails to mention what part the domestic oil companies played in the whole mess. Don't think for a minute that they weren't in on it with OPEC and Bill... its one big happy, price-gouging family.

Thumbs up

Foster probably speaks for a lot of voting Americans with regard to our lack of clear, strong choices. Seems like voting the "lesser of two evils" to me. IMHO, and .002 j.b.

John McCain is publicly supporting Bush now. After his party lynched him in the primarys, it's hard to believe he's lowered himself to endorse Bush. Bush vs Gore, the next 4 years should prove interesting.
