Lightbulb The Ford Blanket of Raoul

My blanket came in clear plastic bag with a zippered opening. I only took it out once to see what it looked like and it has been behind the seat ever since.

Let it be known that I intend to offer up this treasure as a prize at the Norfolk Rally in July.

I will leave the specifics on how the blanket may be 'won', to others. Since many of you will be traveling great distances and I am so close, I feel this is only a small contribution.

So before you send Ford hundreds of dollars to acquire one of these blankets, consider the possibility that it may be you who will achieve the ultimate victory.
(that is, if this is the only prize offered)

It should be interesting trying to figure out how 'The Blanket of Raoul' may be won.

Also, the winner may rename the blanket after I've had a sufficient mourning period.

My only question about Raoul's blanket is, "Will it pass the ultraviolet light test?"

I'm sure Dave and Sean know what I'm talking about.

Was this blanket behind the seat when you nearly killed yourself at the stoplight revving contest?

Cool

Raoul -

Are the gay Lightning owners eligible to win your Ford binky?

sixpipes, if all the gay Lightning owners were eligible to win then everyone would have about as much chance as winning Publisher's Clearinghouse. I think that if speed is involved everyone else wouldn't have a chance anyway. All that attend should be eligible(except me).

Since the Friday party is at the beach I was thinking of something like,

'Member we'd most like to see covered with a blanket'
or
'Member least likely to afford lodging'
or
'Member most likely to end up naked by Saturday morning'
or ?

Was at my daughter's softball game yesterday, it was warm but, cooled off as the day wore on. My wife got chilled and wanted to use the 'blanket' in my truck. I told her no I was giving it away. She wanted to know who I was giving it to and I told her I didn't know yet. It went downhill from there.
The blanket is safe but, I believe my wife is now on a quest between now and the end of July to upset my plan.

I think it may become the Norfolk F150 Rally Battle Flag.

Well... you could always sustitute it for one of those "Magnetic Fuel Savers" from J C Whitney Catalog. They are only $19.95. I think they also reduce door cracks as well by focusing magnetic energy on the metal and drawing it back together. Don't know for sure but it's a rumor going round.
