You know what really grinds my gears?

You know what really grinds my gears?

When young, punk kids are out on the street trying to prove something.

I was out in the SRT10 ram today, and some young punk looking kid and his girl flip me off, and speed off in his *** wagon, riced out, Honda Prelude. We get to the next set of lights and he is egg`in me on... hes revving his engine constantly like he wants, or thinks if we race, his car will beat mine. I play along, rolling down my window and say to the kid... "Listen junior, I don't want to embarass you in front of you're barbie girlfriend."... It sounded like he had a turbo on the car, but anyway he ended up racing and I ended up beating him to the next light by about 5 car lengths.

What really grinds you're gears??

If you have a chance test a lightning. Stock to stock a lightning will get most srt's off the line, the srt will from a roll out at 40- 50 mph will beat the lightning. The srt seems to have a hard time hooking.

Seen them at the track they were .5 of a seckond slower than the stock lightnings there.

There is a srt10 around town that is supercharged, now that would be amazing.

I almost bought a srt10, but I bought an other lightning instead. Even looked at the srt 8 magnums.

Shes amazing! I have the quad cab version. Shes very powerful with her supercharger. 650hp. Still needs a trip to the tuner.

I use her as a cruiser for road trips. Seats the wife and kid just fine with plenty of room. Very comfy for long highway bursts. The only thing is that it might not be smart to use her for road trips. MPG wise, she only makes about 11 highway on octane 94.

I would have got the 10 over the lightning, but that's me, or even a Jeep SRT8.

The QC is much heavier then the RC, so she grips the road much better. Not so much smoke.

I get people that want to race all of the time when I'm the T/A. It's usually mustangs and imports that think they have something to prove. I just let them carry on like idiots as it's just not worth the consequences to satisfy their stupidity.
