Check This Out....
Hey fellow f-150 members, Just wanted to let you know that they're members that like to "try" to make some of us feel stupid.
I personally don't like it and apologize to any members I offend.
Some people think it's a joke or funny to razz members, when all they're trying to do is just help a fellow member and suggest some helpful tips.
I'm posting this topic, because I don't think it's right. I hate the fact that some members enjoy making fun of someone trying to help or ask a simple question, making a snide remark!
I don't feel good about it and also don't like snotty nose remarks from people who get a rush out of making fun of members.
I truly feel this is a great site and I'm here to learn, help and appreciate my fellow members!
Best of wishes and luck to all.

Lariat Ryder,
I was extremely disturbed to read how you handled this problem. If you find another member's response obnoxious or insulting there are better ways to handle it other than to try and smear that
person and make a major issue of it.
You could:
1 ask the person to apologize.
2 ask that member to edit their post and recant the text
3 send the Webmaster a message about the problem you are having with that member. There is a link at the top of every forum to do this. The webmaster and owner of this site is fair, just and handles such problems expeditiously.
We are all old enough to drive, we are all old enough to handle matters in a civil
manner. Name calling, innuendo, and general flaming a member is childish
and does not belong here. You took the time and effort to make 2 such posts,
in 2 different forums. I am asking you to please follow steps 1 and 2 for the way
you handled this matter. Then, if you feel the need, follow steps 1,2, and if still
needed step 3 in regards to the member offending you.

So what exactly are you trying to say Lariat Ryder??
I agree with mtknee. Your response was about as productive as his. There are several warped/smarta$$ people on here that get out of line on occasion. A better answer would have been a better solution.
You have both been helpful to many folks here in the past. I would hate to see either one of you get the boot.

I would have to agree with Mtknee on this one. I mean addressing the problem through the proper channels is the way to go. Starting a new thread to bash someone just isnt the way to go. just my 2 cents

Thanks mtknee, seacrow, 2000sport and Claudia for the responses. I guess sometimes I get a bit frustrated and don't understand why people have to be that way. Of course my response doesn't help the situation and puts me right down there with people like that.
Point well taken and my apologizes to everyone, including sycoholic.
Best wishes to all!
