Post TURBO

Hey, does anyone know how a turbo works? I am mainly looking for how to put one on an engine that does not come with one. I know what the basic idea of one is. I also want to see some cutaway pics of a turbo.

turbos work similar to a supercharger, except that a turbo uses exhaust to create boost instead of a belt. The turbo has 2 turbines in it connected to eachother, one is connected to a special exhaust manifold where the exhaust spins the one turbine, which then spins the second one which creates the boost. The only problem is the boost created is hot air so it needs to go through an intercooler to make the air a better suited temperature for the engine.

Now as for adding a turbo to an engine that wasn't created to use a turbo can be done but it has consequences. Normal engines are built to handle the strength of boost, unless you keep it low.
