Angry Well today i messed up my back bumper.

I feel extremely dumb for doing what i am about to tell you. Today in the school parking lot i backed into a guy. I was going to back up to go into a parking spot and i could not see him behind me. He was really close to me and i couldn't see him. My back bimper is scrathed up on the drivers side. The other guys car isn't to good. I think my hitch got the edge of the hood and pushed it and his grill back. Well looks like i get those rock chips taken care of when they repaint my bumber. This is the first wreck i have been in. I have had my license for almost 2 years. I am just glad it isn't worse than it is.

I've had my liscense for a year and a half and have never backed into someone. But when I'm at school I tend to back into spots with a curb behind them. That way I can go all the way back. Then I have my friends park around me to keep my truck protected.

Cool

I once backed into my husbands boss's car!!! He'd parked behind me and like you I just didn't see him. I was much luckyer then you though because I had time to get out the scratch remover and get to work on his car. It was also during winter and there was a lot of snow on his car. (I added some too)!! He didn't notice how messed up his car was, I didn't point it out and on his way home, he hit some black ice and put it into a ditch. He did wonder later how he managed to put it into the ditch in reverse but the other end of his car also had dents!!! My lesson learned was to ALWAYS check out whats behind me before getting into my truck!!!! Another time I hit this stupid short post. It came right up to the top of my bumper, I never even had a clue it was there. Creased the bumper real good on that one. Hopefully your lesson doesn't cost you too much either.
