Fun At The Farm!!

A friend and I went out to my farm today to mess around with my UTV. First time I have really put it through the paces in the snow and it did well. Too bad most of this will be melted this weekend. Anyways here's a few pics before the camera died.

Nice toy. How do you like it? I am looking at picking one up in the future and retiring my four wheeler.

It's my dad's toy.
Club Car XRT, 3 cyl Kubota Diesel, Lifted with aftermarket rims and tires. Almost impossible to get this thing stuck. We found a steep hill today where we dug four deep holes trying to get up it. Alot of Fun!!

Looks like fun.

I've been wanting to get an ATV.. but they are just way too expensive. Back a couple years ago they were relatively inexpensive. Now they are like... car payments for a half way decent one.

But yeah, have fun... and be careful with those UTV's, they tend to tip VERY easily.

We always pay attention to safety, your right it so easy to get hurt. One of the reasons we bought this one was for the stability. I have rode all UTV's and this one was by far the most stable. All steel suspesnion components with aerospace aluminum frame. I would put it up against anything on the market right now. If you would have seen the torture test the sales guy put one through when we bought it you too would be impressed. I am going to have to go back to the dealership for another ride with my camera. When we were done I told my dad if we get this one, it better be a brand new one!

it was a lot of fun. we did get it high centered once though. it was when we tried to climb a 3ft vertical hill, front tires made it up but that was it. Tons of fun we need to do that again sometime, ill have to bring my vid camera.

When we get 2-3 ft of snow on the Ranch, i hook intertubes to ropes, then hitch them to the back of our 500 sportsman 4x4. Throw it in 4Lo, and rip through the Alfalfa fields towing the little brothers/cousins. THey love it.

Looks like fun. My roommate just bought a 660 Raptor that he's been toying around with in the snow.
What dealer has the torture test? Stahlman?

I didn't even think of that. Next time we are going to have to try it!! I already have a hook on the back and my tow strap for pulling things.

Cowtown in Cuba Mo. If you have the time someday go down there and ask the owners son to take you around the test course. We started out by him stopping on a really steep hill and trying to turn us over on purpose. Next was just some riding around the place. After that we were going down steep hills while cutting the wheels back up. Something no one should ever attempt. And finally he finished by driving in a lake where they test the jet boats. Next thing you know we are going full speed jumping over the dam!! No joke. We hit hard and got to the bottom only to run over a big rock that made a horrible sound on the machine. Then he drove me back through the course backwards. Thanks god for seatbelts.

Me and my buddy have been riding his hinting buddies Rhino around town. The things are impossible to get stuck..except when you high center it which we did ha. But we got probably close to a foot of snow and some ice. It was lot of fun. The downfall on that Rhino is that it tops out at 40 but it is fun as heck to drive.
