Just Plain Dumb

Non partisan, non political post.

This is just really stupid, just like the corporate jet story of today.

Too many corporate/government types are living in some sort of mental vacuum.

Edit: I just checked my source, which was an AOL News link and it may be a bit suspect, but I have seen the story published elsewhere but didn't copy it. Take it for what it is worth at this point, I don't like to post false information

I don't know, 'migo, she just started a PAC for some future candidacy, so maybe if the clothing is still in fashion 4-8 years from now they can recycle it.

It would seem that Miss Sarah probably has/had nothing to do with the present fiasco, at least I hope so for her sake if the story is true.

Maybe they will auction them off later, and give the proceeds to charity. They could easily do so at upcoming Republican fundraisers, or even put them on Ebay.

Keeping the clothes in bags at the RNC HQ saves from renting a storage unit.

Just because the reporter was unable to determine the eventual fate of the clothes does not mean there is a scandal.

Dave, Dave, Dave.

With all due respect, I think your comments are pure fantasy.

This thing became a really big, ugly issue in late October early November and it was very firmly stated by Palin and the RNC that the clothing and accessories would be given to charity at that time, the timing being more or less rather quickly.

My sense is that it is now almost February and the goods apparently have not been given to charity or otherwise disposed of. If this is true, it is my sense also that there are folks at the RNC shop that are responsible for such things that felt it would just go away and that after a reasonable time had passed some of the members of the RNC would get some nice clothing etc. for free.

Sorry, there are times, like this one, when I have rather a great deal of disrespect for human kind.

Our gov't just passed a 825,000,000,000 dollar stimulus bill that will not work and will NEVER be paid for and we're worried about clothes.

Thats what I was thinking, I don't care what they do with Palins clothes, in my opinion, the fewer the hand outs the better.

I think auctioning her clothes is a pretty goo idea and would raise some decent money rather than just giving them away.

100k worth of clothes or 335,000,000 bucks for STD prevention? I'll say which concerns me more!
