Is "detail her fridge" a metaphore for something? & how do you detail a fridge? Did you add pin stripes? Or did you just wash & wax it?

Yea Shifter we need details,
Did you use Mcguires or Zainos, did you use a chamois or water blade, did you use an orbital buffer or do it by hand? Did you use the leaf blower to dry all those hard to get to places? How did you get the scuff marks out, peanut butter or show polish? Would a California duster help get the coils clean? Was there any defrosting involved? And is that a New York W.O.W. or just a plain WOW. I've been thinking about detailing the washer and dryer, do you get the same results?

Ok, the washer-dryer I have no problem detailing but when it comes to the stuff in the kitchen, I would find it much easier to buy her another "appliance" than to bust my A$$ cleaning a fridge or a stove.

Detail a fridge??Hmmm I guess it works for somebody, maybe I ought to try it.I on the other hand(possible metaphore) have spent nearly the whole weekend painting and I haven't got anywhere, not even a nibble so to speak...

Well if MY fridge was 'detailed', I wouldn't notice!
Detail the bathroom ... Now we're talkin'
Seacrow I thought I was the only one that did that... It also works for dishes too.

Well, "working" the fridge wouldn't do much more than earn a kiss. Friday, hubby took me out boot scooting, and man.... There isn't anything like a cowboy, his hat,and a good 2-step dance that can "start my rodeo". The hat is a must - clothes are optional!

No, "detailing the fridge" means only that. Like, empty the thing and throw out the furry yogurts and rotting vegies, or at least the ones that have started barking. Then, scrub it clean so you have to wear sunglasses when you open the door.
I guess the lesson is: if you do the really unpleasant stuff, the pleasant stuff follows. Cleaning the bathrooms doesn't get me quite the same reaction. However, it's good for calming her down and getting me back in her good books somewhat.

I could just see my husband detailing the fridge. First he'd clean out all the food then he'd eat most of the stuff that I would have thrown away!!! YUK!! Personally, I could handle a good detailing of my back
Yep, that would do it!!

Back rubs work great for my wife also, Tina. However, she says they never last long enough. I always get started and then somehow start to think that the purpose is for something different. In other words, the little head takes over from the big head, if you know what I mean. When everything's over, my wife still wants a back rub. Geeez!
