Reread post number 22... my first post in this thread. It was all statement of facts. Either you misread the post or you just chose to try and be "cute" with you reply.

The post states what Obama's favorability rating was during his transition and what it was after he took office as President. I'm not sure why you need help understanding that. There was no twisting here other than your panties when you found out you were wrong about my post. I never said he had an 83% presidential approval rating. Again, it's becoming tiresome helping you comprehend things that are spelled out for you.

Sam's Club or Costco might offer a value pack of unbunchable panties that will make you life a little more tolerable.

Do you actually consider Bush's heavy-handed attempts to be currently successful? Not only was his approval rating one of the lowest ever in the US, he was also one of the most disliked leaders in the world...you do have to admit that, right? Perhaps another route should be explored, as Bush's didn't work all that well...oh well; back to your cave---the "tunnel of close-mindedness."

Hello, POT? This is kettle... you sir are black.

Give me a break. You took the time to post in a thread calling me closed minded after I posted Poll numbers from a polling institution.

I always thought Referees were a little more objective.

Nope, I just consider the source, and COACHES tend to be one-sided, as you are... I tend to look at both sides, and I examined Bush's efforts and saw that, perhaps, a new tactic in the game was needed. I just look at your sig for the lack of objectivity...

I'm obviously WAY off in this thread. I had no idea it was a thread about Bush...

Carry on bashing Bush, my apologies. I thought this was a thread about Obama's approval ratings.

When reading the entire thread it appeared as if you were defending post #6. Based on your posting history on the topic of president and that awesome sig of yours its not much of a stretch to see my train of thought. Me thinks I'm right. I also get my unbunched panties from the women's locker room at the gym. That's just good sniffin!!!

NOW we have cleared things up. I almost heard an apology in your thread. Right up till the part where you wrote, "Me thinks I'm right." But I guess that's the closest I'll get to you saying you misread what I wrote and jumped to conlusions rather than just looking at the numbers

I know a lot of you Obama guys have a hard time with the idea that not everyone agrees with him on everything. He has been hyped up and it will be very difficult for him to live up to his "build up". There is very little room for him to increase his appeal, but there sure is a lot of room for a decline. After 8 years of the Bashing Bush trend, a week or so of Obama bashing seems to have brought out the defensive side in the Left. Buckle up, it's going to be a long 4 years at this rate.

Here's a link to Obama's first interview granted to Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel:

The guy has been sitting in the Oval Office one day more than a a week. Here is the deal, s2krn...how can you bash the guy if you do not know if his tactics will or will not work---if they do not work, I will admit it---if they do work---WILL YOU ADMIT IT?..Based on your sig, I think not...

I will absolutely admit when Obama does something I agree with. As a matter of fact I've already done so. https://www.f150online.com/forums/ge...-possible.html

While I feel the media will not treat Obama similarly to other war time Presidents, I do think Obama has a case to add troops in Afghanistan. I have no idea how he will handle the situation, but I'm not against his plan to shift focus to Afghanistan.

I know it's difficult to see things you don't want to.

I think we're clear now. Also, that is the closest thing you'll ever see to an apology out of me. Moving on... I didn't vote for the douchebag. I'd rather not have him in office. However, he is and I'll give him a fair shot. Posts that state or hint his popularity has dropped nearly 20% in a week chap my buttocks.

68% is a vast Improvement over the %25 ratings the President had just last year..

Honestly, 68% is Really Good:

The new job-approval figure puts him at the upper end of opening poll numbers for presidents, but doesn’t set a record.

Gallup’s initial job approval ratings were President John F. Kennedy, 72 percent;
