Unhappy No clique for me

There are a lot of sub groups on the messageboard but, none for me. It didn't bother me until the V6'ers got their own forum. Now, they're all excited and happy and they used to be the have-nots.
I just have a regular F150 obviously not a SuperDuty or a Lightning. It's not old enough to hang with the Pre-97ers (who have rumblings of secession). My bank account precludes membership in the Expedition or Excursion forums. I thought I could fit in with the Diesel crowd but, they kicked me out when they discovered all I had was piston slap. The only guy I know with a Harley-Davidson F150 is Jay Leno and he won't return any of my e-mail.

So, here I sit in General Discussion until something legitimately breaks on my truck or someone asks a question somewhere that I know the answer to, which is practically never!

Let's ask Steve for a Nobody Likes a Smarta** catagory, we could hang out and talk about humorless members , people that can't take a joke, pray to the blue oval, etc

Dear Raoul,

The universal appeal and value you bring to F150online should not be confined to any one area, but rather, that presence should permeate throughout this site.

How's that for a line?!?

So I guess you're feeling "cliqueless"? Good for you!

Where would we be without Raoul?

Raoul, I too feel the sting. I guess that is why I have just stuck my nose in everyones business. Heck it's more fun to that way. If Steve started a Roush area I would have to be a snob or something then and that would not be fun. LOL

I agree with Mike, Where would we be without your wit.

Tina, it was thread where everyone was admiring the 'sound' of that diesel power and I said yeah but, mine goes away every morning after about 30 seconds.

I was considering using some plywood and heavy duty plastic to make a bogus SuperCrew out of my regular cab but, that SuperCrew gang is photo happy. I'll get hit with "hey Raoul, show us some pics...".
I just don't think I'm a good enough carpenter to pull it off.

Thumbs up

You can have my lightning build #, if you want to hang out over there. i'm not using it anymore. it seems someone is trying to match up mods with build #'s to void warranty. if you do, you'll have to sneak in with a catchy name no one will recognise, like SVT-RAOUL-BOLT, or RAOULASSSVT. remember to act c-o-c-k-y, you'll be fine

Talking

I thought about it MRBBQMAN but, when the lab results on my blood work come back and they see those testosterone levels they'll say, "no way this guy owns a Lightning!".

Pastmaster, I would never get into name-calling. I just don't fit in with that crowd because my truck has too much horsepower, doesn't smoke, etc...

uh,Thats a good thing, we allready have enough individuals with attitude!

In reply, you can't ever have too much hp, and I don't know of anyone's truck who smokes. Any help on a engine swap will be good though.

Angry

I too feel kinda snubbed. (Boo-Hoo). The last time I "chimed" in and tried to participate, I either get no replies, or cut to ribbons by the individual that "thinks" he knows everything. (hmmm, who fits that).
Now I'm a reader rather than a writer. I'm just waiting to hear of my tranny symptoms and the reasonable repair to take action.
Have a nice day, and take care. And no, I'm not whining, just a bit perplexed.........
Raoul, your my hero..............

Okay Raoul, here's a question for ya. Do you really have a F150? Come on, tell us the truth, that was really your Elantra with the Virginia plates in the topic: What's the 3rd one for? Maybe Steve can start an Elantra forum for ya
