Bigger and longer tips help out a ton. Try 4" by 18".

Pouring Water on everyone.

I'm just glad I don't live next door to this young man.

Seriously, depending on the engine you have, some of those suggestions are going to leave you with so little back pressure in the system that performance will suffer as the truck get noisier.

This was a pretty big problem with those of us who had Blackwoods with the 4 valve heads. Ran lousy with headers etc. I ended up with a single system split after the aftermarket muffler into two pipes with resonator tips and it was plenty loud and wicked fast.

I don't doubt that running long tubes into high flows with 3" will hurt your performance somewhat, but my exhaust did not. I haven't dynoed it, but there was really no noticeable difference before or after in the times by buddies gtech gave. Normal exhaust mods barely change the power output, there is just no getting around that. If he leaves the cats alone they will provide all the back pressure needed, so he can pretty much do whatever after them.

He was saying that if all you are going for is loud that he is glad he doesn't have to hear it. What motor do you have? As long as its not a v6 you should be alright trying to make it loud, if it is a v6 leave it alone because it will sound like a friggin boat if you mess with it.

Was thinking the same thing...then again I'm not home too often haha

A couple summers ago though there was this big jacked up dodge that lived down the road from me and my god was this thing loud, sounded like complete crap with it cackeling really bad, but none-the-less it was loud! So annoying when he went by sounded like an f-16 taking off.

Re-route the exhaust tips into the cab, That way you get to enjoy the noise and it'll make all your other pain go away.
