Linksys or Netgear?

I am going to get a wireless router for my house and am trying to decide between Linksys or Netgear. I am probably going to get the G now as the N are just a hair above my budget for them. Which do you guys use and which one would you say is better?

I just got back from vacation at my wifes sisters house and they have a linksys and it worked great on my wifes laptop. Also what is the max range you guys get? I want my parents who live right next door to be able to connect too as they have a laptop but do not have internet. Their house is approximate 100-150 feet from where my router will be located. Please help

I have the linksys and have not had any issues, not sure about range since I don't got any further than about 75 ft from the unit.

yea, go linksys. range on this things is actually pretty surprising.

if you want to help your parents out try getting the router as close to their house as possible. they will most likely get a signal wherever you actually put the router though.

Neither. The best unit out there right now is the Belkin N+ Wireless Router. Insane range, great performance and solid features. Can be had for about $99 online or $113 in most retail stores.
