Post SAPD OFFICER KILLED..100 CLUB

Hello everyone,
One of my fellow officer was shot and killed on Friday, he leaves behind 2 children and one on the way. Their is a group called the 100 Club, basically it collects money for slain officers and fire fighters children killed in the line of duty. They take any donation at all, 98 cents of every dollars goes to these kids, its put in a trust and grows till the child is 18, at that time the child get the trust in 5 annual payments. (to help with the beginnning of there adult life, college or whatever)..To become a member it 100 a year or 1000 for a lifetime membership. Does anyone think we could raise 1000 ? If so we could donate it in www.f150online.com name..Just a thought, one of his children was 5 and it really hit home. This is the 12 officer funeral I will attend in my 14 years (10 of those SAPD).

Steve if you want to lock this I understand. Thanks everyone, I really do love this site and most of you people too....Dave

Because some of you have asked, here is my work address. You maysend donations there and when i get a good amount or the donations stop, I will take it to the 100 CLUB...

Officer David Wessels 0089
5020 Prue Rd (Prue Substation)
San Antonio, Tx 78240

(210)207-7425

CHECKS CAN BE MAKE TO THE 100 CLUB

I appreciate all of you heart felt concern, thank all of you.....Dave

I'm really sorry to hear about that Dave. I would like to help, if we all could donate just one dollar I believe we would have enough.

Count me in. Dave, can you post where to send a contribution? Any contribution we make is so small compared to the loss suffered by the family, but I hope we can do something.

Dave, my heartfelt condolence to the family. I know it's pretty hard, not only on the fallen officer's own family, but it's hard on the other officers and their families. How are you holding up?

Just let us know where to send the check and who to make it out to.

I hate to hear this, this is really sad. A local department around here lost a firefighter, a volunteer who just got married. Very sad.

Davensa,

Very sorry to hear about this! I am mailing my donation to your work address.

This is why I could not be in law enforcement...leaving a young family behind so suddenly.

Sad, sad, sad.

Dear Davensa,

Could you please drop me a brief e-mail, with who to make checks payable to please? People here would like to know also, so you might want to post that publicly. I ask for the email only because I cannot get down here very often, and we want to donate as well.

Our bests to his family,
