Hello, I just registered as a member.
I have a new 2000 4x4. Picked it up with 18 miles on it. I changed out the facotry fill oil today at 175 miles. It's some funny looking stuff in there, greenish looking.
I'm glad I didn't leave that stuff in there any longer. I also noticed I have a "green-sticker" tranny, and the steel driveshaft.
I also got my dealer to put it in writing that crakced doors are covered under the 3/36 warranty, since it doesn't specifically state anything about cracks in the sheetmetal. So now I wait for the crack(s). Haven't checked to see if the rear window leaks yet.

Don't sweat stuff too much and enjoy the ride. I have neither the door crack or the leaky slider on my 99 within the first 10,000 miles. So far so good.
