There are plenty of people here from Florida now. Especially the Tampa/St. Pete area. I know it's hectic down here this time of year with all of the snowbirds but we should take the time to get together. I just noticed flats man's post in events and happenings, it seems to have gotten overlooked. I am just over the Skyway in Bradenton, a getogether in St. Pete. sounds like fun. Let's hammer something out in events and happenings if anyone is interested.

How about the Desoto Memorial Speedway in Bradenton? The speedway is about 7 miles east of I 75 on SR 64. They also have the state park about 1/2 mile from there, and there are lots of other attractions nearby to set up something for everyones tastes.

Yes, Desoto Speedway is about 20 minutes from my house. And the park down the road is Myakka State Park. I am open to anything but I am not good at organizing anything, I would probably mess it up. The Speedway has an "anything goes" amateur race on Saturdays. At least I think they still have it. Guys used to run Pintos against Vegas, old *****ty LTD's against old *****ty Caprices. They even time them for ya. It was entertaining to say the least.
