Question Why are all the topics that are not on page1 forgotten about?

Why are there so many duplicate topics?
Why don't people "revive" the old ones?
Not having duplicate topics makes it a lot easier to search for info.
Any thoughts?

Cool

Yeah, but why don't people search the "old pages" for answers first?

Since Steve deleted all of the posts older than 90 days a while back I think most of the good stuff is gone.

I miss some of the old threads, like the truck jokes. I've lost others from time to time. And what happened to that huge string of 5.4 piston-slapper posts? These could help a lot of folks with their warranty battles.

Is there an electronic library we could go to on this site? I can understand the cost issue of keeping everything up front and visible. Maybe the search button is the key and could be promoted more.

My second of the "new" F150s. Great trucks!

Wink

I think Steve is going to have to periodically delete topics that have been dormant for more than 90 days to fit the site on the server.
So the solution is to "revive" your favorite topics every once in a while.
BTW does everybody have the little page #s at the bottom of thier screen?

Exclamation

People PLEASE set your preferences to "show all topics" and go through all the pages in a forum before submitting a new topic.
Thank You.

Cool

99% of my posts are replies to other questions. When I log on each time, I note where I left off the time before and go up from there. I have a feeling that some people just like to post new questions rather than take the time to look to see if it's already been asked.
Take care,
-Chris

Yeah, alot. They get more opinions about it, and as time goes on, you learn more, or if you're like Dunbarton, you forget more!
