Arrow LONG, lean and mean

Trying to keep it from looking like a corporate work truck. Not easy when it's white with a regular cab and long bed! What else can I do?

Already looks pretty good to me. The tinted windows help a lot. Nice wheels.

Whew! Never mind, I found it. Disregard the Turner Turnpike thing. I was gettin' worried for a minute.

Thanks ZRracer. But I can't help thinking that it needs something else. I just don't know what.

Hmm...
regular cab (check)
long bed (check)
no frills (check)
FORD truck (check)
belligerent (check)
tobacco stains (optional)
Yup. Them be Okies!

Now I know where to get spare parts for my truck.

You forgot to add a bad dog to your list. No spare parts without losin' a chunk of your butt.

Cool

Nomo, how about some fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror or a hula dancer or taco dog doll glued to your dash? Maybe a Pizza Hut sign?

Seriously, though. Vanity plates will definitely turn it into a personal vehicle.

Cousin had DBIGTWK on his F-350 Crewcab. Always thought that was a cool plate.

Nice wheels, nomo! How about some side steps and a big bad brush bar set-up on the front. And an "f150online.com" sticker, of course.

Add-ons: Older Windstar driver's side wiper blade (with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains), back-up beeper, "f150online.com" sticker and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.

My third F-series: '73 F-100, '98 F-150 and '00 F-150. Great trucks!

He probably still has that cool OSU tag with Pistol Pete (they're gonna lose tonight, you know). You need about a thousand dead bugs on the front to really make that pickup fit in in Oklahoma.

Just a simple pin stripe job will do wonders. Either double line of black or in the prarie tan like the interior.

A couple of racing stripes on the hood, roof, and back of tail gate might help but I think it looks great as is.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the suggestions everyone (except Ford Man- which, btw, I have plenty of butt to spare ).

I've considered stripes, but I'm just not sure. Some trim is black, but the interior is grey- which color would you stripe with? I like the idea of racing stripes, but that would be a bit d*dge-like.

The dice, dog, hula-dancer & pizza hut sign are just a bit too common (I live in OK remember!) as are hood ornaments and mud-flaps. Also, like Ford Man says- I've already got the coolest personal plate: 034OSU.

Clear corners are an option, but I'm not sure about the tail light covers. I use the brake and back-up lights to park the boat. Performance mods (like pipes) are still a ways out. I've got to get some tires that will handle the existing power first. Still thinking about the 315/55R16s, but I'm still a few miles away from tossing the OEM junk.

Thanks again for the ideas. Keep 'em coming!

Cool tags ain't gonna help your alma mater tonight. They're gonna get smoked like good dope! What size tires did you get/how many miles/what are you going to ask?

You must have the Cowboys confused with that other university that loses in the first round every year.

I got the General Grabber AWs. Nearly lost it today when they broke loose during light acceleration around a curve. After my wife drives it a few more times in the rain, I should get the "OK" for new ones. Until then, it "just doesn't make sense to get rid of brand new tires" (her words).

NOMO nice truck, with the color coded bug deflector/mirror vibration creator, and those nice wheels, it does not look corporate, except for maybe a boss' mobile.

What to do to make it look more NOMO,
as stated above, clear front corners a MUST, call Roger NOW! Pin striping will give it a classy look. Forget doing anything with the tail lights, or a brush guard, the front end looks good(except for amber corners).

You're an Okie, isn't there an Okie law that requires you to have 4 o 5 different size antenna's on the roof?!
