How many people out there have a Sony Playstation? What games are you currently playing and do you have any tips, tricks or cheats? Currently I've been playing Medal of Honor and Sled Storm. I've been thinking about buying the new Grand Turismo 2 but I'm thinking about waiting until Playstation 2 comes out in October.

Me and Pony just went and bought Test Drive 6. It is very awesome, we got it cause you can drive a Ford Lightning. Next on the list is the new Dukes of Hazzard game, the graphics on it look sweet.

ZRacer I have about 30 games and don't stop playing em til I beat em,syphon filter is a classic along with medal gear solid,also have all the tomb raider and resident evil games,syphon filter 2 comes out this week.All the games out now you will be able to play with the playstation2,it is also gonna be a dvd player for movies and cd for music.Somewhere around $350. but a good dvd player is around $300. so it is a good buy,comes out in August.

ZRracer..I'm currently playing a lot of Madden 2000 with friends.

Mudder...get Dukes....It rocks. I got hooked on it and stayed up all night until I beat it.
Test Drive 6 is awesome too. I love the Lightning.

 

Sounds like some great games. I want to check out that Lightning in Test Drive 6. I'll rent Dukes of Hazard this week, loved the show, game has to be good too!

I live for racing. Need for Speed III and IV are my favorite. Hooked on IV, need to buy a mem card so i can earn some money and keep a collection of cars. Army Men is addictive and awesome. Gran Tourismo II is next on my list.

Mudder, I recommend renting Dukes before you buy it. I thought it would be awesome. Looks like it and I love Dukes of Hazzard and that '69 Charger ..... but it is the same thing over and over .... not much variety or action. Drive down this road to get this then drive back, that is all it is. Isn't too hard to beat....just time consuming. But, if you like Test Drive, you might like this.

Have you guys ever heard of BLEEM? It is some software that lets you play playstation games on your PC. I have it and it rocks. If you have a good video card. I have a Diamond 3D Monster 16 MB and it looks great. Be warned though all the games don't work yet.

The only game I have really tried is Duke Nukem "Time To Kill"

You can increase the res to what ever your PC can handle but I found that mine just being a celeron 400 will only let everything else work at 800x600.

Lots more options on it too! You guys should check it out! I think you can get a demo at www.bleem.com

The playstation spits out video at 320x200 so just imagine the difference.

GT2 is the best, especially when you have the gameshark and can get a 20,000hp Mustang!

 

Hey yea!!!! Playstation I have one and I want to know the secret to beating the helicoptor in syphon filter. Also I have a decent size collection of games (about 43). also has anyone heard of a new chip for the psx2 yet?

I bought one for my brother, can spend many hours with Driver and Spyro. Personaly I prefer the graphics on my computer than that of the Playstation. Favorite Computer games are NFS3, Driver, Test Drive Off-Road 3, Any car game with cool graphics!

SugarMan (nice aka): It is not your Celery that is blocking the res. I beleive the games were built with TV res I have a overcooked celery 300A @ 464Mhz! And no res probs with the Matrox G200 "1072x768" (soon to be a Matrox G400 dual head). Bleem is cool! you can run copied disks easy! I have Spyro on PSX for Bleem.

I started out w/ pong as a kid. My how things have changed! I remember when, as a youngster, remote control was askin' mom to change the channel.


The wife gives me grief over my playstation, but I love it.

Have: Driver, Tekken 3, Gran Turismo, and Gran Turismo 2.

GT2 is the best. Love the Ford GT40! and the other Ford pack!
