Thanks nomo

I bought the ARE, the ventshades, the nerf bars and the bug deflector from the same guy. The bug deflector and the VentShades were painted white at a local body shop for an extra $35. The back sides are smoke colored.

Anybody know why I am getting that blueish line when I scan pics? I have cleaned it, changed formats, used different carriers, etc. and I still get that line on every pic.

That's very cheap for all the painting they did! I was hoping that Auto Shade (or whatever that company's name is) had come out with some white vent shades. I bought their white bugshield from Pep Boys and I'm really happy with the fact that it is white plastic throughout. I don't have to worry about paint chips or peeling. Discoloration is still a concern though.

Tough call on the scanner problem. It could just be a spec of dust or an actual problem. You might try tearing it apart and cleaning it again.

Wink

White ventshades? I like the blue anntenna myself!
Uh in case you haven't tried this, move the pic to the other side of the scanner. I know you will get a black area next to it then, so crop it out with your photo program.

Regarding the line in your scan. Looks like you either need to get the internals cleaned or you need a new scanner head.

I'm assuming the line is in the same place with all your scans.

Scanners are fairly cheap these days, so if you're the least bit adept with tools and devices, you may want to take it apart and look for a dust particle in the image path. Otherwise, you may as well buy a new one. Of course, you can buy Photoshop and remove that line quite easily from all your scans, although it would be a PITA.

Thanks everybody!

fast, it is not a Lariat, it is the Orlando appearance package, notice I don't have fender flares and the pinstripe goes the length of the truck. Looks just like a Lariat otherwise.

Loser1, I don't have the captains chairs yet. I have a buyer for the 60/40 that lives overseas and I want to close the deal first. I have a deposit on the captains chairs and console. Thank God I found 'em.

ATST, "blueish antenna" LOL

and I will have to check my scanner. It is an almost new HP OfficeJet600 so I hope it isn't crapping out.

Yes Dennis, removing the line would be a major PITA! LOL
