If gas prices keep going up, I might have to trade in my F150 on one.

As soon as I get my *** a job, I will have either a SE with Sport and Comfort group or the ZTS with leather seats. Later on, I am going to probally put a supercharger on it unless someone convinces me to put a turbo on it.

Cool

I like it, saw one at an auto show in Montreal. It was silver, tinted windows, clear rear lights, 16" rims, 4 wheel abs blue anodized calipers, rally style front bumber... Really Nice!

Was thinking the same thing 54regcab...

Guys!!!!I got nothing against the Focus,as a matter of fact I have heard far more good than bad,but to trade your F-150 for one???Damn guys, get back to reality(LOL)...Could you possibly ever see yourself driving one over your truck??Dang..Again,nothing against the "little thing",I just could never go there after where I am right now,and that is high over most, and in an F-150..

I like the new Focus but I (after owning 2 Rangers, 2 F-150s, 1 Toyota PU and an Explorer) find most cars almost useless. Unless of course it is a classic or a "drivers car" of some sort. Who really needs a Camry now that they make so many different trucks. No offense to anyone but there is not one thing I can't do better with my truck that I can do with a car. Hell even my mom is gonna get a Ranger when her Bonneville dies. She says they are cheaper, drive better, have better visibility and last longer. I am even sick of this Celica I bought back from my friend. I am a truck man and always will be.

AS far as cars go, the new Focus is a great effort from Ford.

The Focus may be an alright car if you want a 4 banger econobox on wheels. But I would rather be in something bigger and heavyer and a V8 under the hood. If gas prices get way out of hand like over 2 dollars a gallon then I'll go back to a Mustang GT. They get a little better mileage than a truck and I'll still have a V8 under the hood. I have nothing against the Focus and hope it does as well or better than the Escort.

Toadman, cool. But no need to worry- I really love my truck and hope to keep it for a long, long time. I would get a car as a second vehicle. But now that I think about it the money for that second car could be used to convert my truck to use alternative fuels??. I think sometime soon we will be able to use cheaper more enviro-friendly fuels, their is alot of research going on on this. So I'll wait--call me a dreamer, but who knows it could happen. Besides after owning this 4x4 it would be hard for me to stick onto the road

The Focus wagon is nice. The one with the more powerful engine (Zetec, I think). With a 5-speed, all the goodies, side airbags and ABS, alloy wheels, that's a nice little car. They always test out well when the pros who write for the magazines test them. And they look good, too.

Black 2000 SC XLT short-box. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 Limited Slip. Side steps, CD, remote entry, FORD box liner. Add-ons: Older Windstar driver's side wiper blade (with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains), back-up beeper, "f150online.com" sticker and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.

My third F-series: '73 F-100, '98 F-150 and '00 F-150. Great trucks!

What sucks for us, is that you cant get the ZTEC Wagon with the 5 speed. It only comes with an automatic. But thats OK because I dont want a wagon.

Joshman: Don't know why but you can get the wagon with the big engine and 5-speed in Canada.

Thinking of one to replace my aging '89 Taurus wagon.

Yeah, you can get them everywhere but the US. I guess that sucks for the people who wanted a "sport" wagon.

My brother wanted to trade in his Ford Mondeo 2.0 liter for a Focus 2.0 liter automatic.
But Focus automatic is only available as 1.6 liter in The Netherlands.
Now he's really disappointed.

1.6 100 HP
2.0 130 HP

Standard version 14.850 US$
Sport package version 23140 US$
