As the saying goes: "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."

MOVEOVER...I agree..the governement can <never> hope to completely get rid of pistols or any firearms for that matter. As soon as house-to-house searches 'start' that's when *they* will have a serious problem. There are **WAY** to many prior-service, hunters, gun enthusiasts to sit back and not stop something like this. This is why the government has had to go at banning/regulating weapons piece-by-piece and over time. We are already starting to see many people saying 'ENOUGH' and 'PROSECUTE THE CRIMINALS!'

As for homemade weapons..certainly!

I don't agree about arming everyone..there are certainly plenty of people who have no business owning a firearm.

In fact...I would not feel safe if I turned all of my firearms in. A criminal with a gun or other weapon *will* sooner or later attempt to break into my house or something else. I want to at least have a chance to protect myself and my wife for crying out loud!!!!

Sensible laws are fine....outright *bans* on pistols, high powered rifles or military style semi-auto rifles....NO WAY! NAIL THE CRIMINALS WITH VERY HEAVY PENALTIES!!!
