For You IPOD Experts...

I've got a bunch of CD's that I want to convert to MP3 and then load them onto my mobile phone.
What's the best program to do this, one that will automatically tag the track titles for me.

Thanks
Habibi

Windows XP

I don't even mind paying for the software if it's good.
I miss Musicmatch, too bad Yahoo had to frig it all up.

I've always just used itunes to convert all my cd's. Talk about a long, drawn out process

havnt bought or used a cd in a long time but i think you can just put it in the computer then go to my computer, right click on the cd drive(usually E and click explore. not sure if that will have the names on it or not i dont have a cd close by to try but you can just copy and paste them to a file on your computer and sync to your phone....

Just use the free version of Nero, even windows media player will upload cds

Windows Media Player is probably the quickest and easiest way though

If you have an iPhone, you'll want to use iTunes. It's free.

You have to use iTunes to sync with any Ipod or iPhone, but you can just use windows to add files to your library and then use iTunes to sync whatever files you want from your library to your device.

I'm not real sure how you sync with a Blackberry.

UPDATE:

Did some researching, You should have got a CD with a Media Manager, probably the same as iTunes, but their version.

How to use the media manager is on pg. 77 of the manual...

Hope that helps

I should probably starta new thread for this problem, but I'll try it here first.

I deleted Musicmatch today from my pc.

All of a sudden, my music files look like this:

Now, when I double click on a song, I get this:

However, when I go into Windows Media Player and select a song from the below screen, it plays fine.

What do I need to do? Must I convert all these songsa into something else?

I further tried another experiment...
I dragged a song from the first screen and dumped it onto my Garmin's GPS media player.

It didn't recognize it in that format. However, when I had Musicmatch installed, all the songs played fine.

I know one of you young guys can help this old fart figure this out.

If those are all from your cds and you used windows media player to rip them from the cd to the computer, you have to go in options and tell windows media player to rip them in mp3 format rather than the wma.

How do I go about converting the files which are already in wma to Mp3 format?
Is there a way?

When I had musicmatch installed, every file was in some kinda musicmatch format which worked on everything, but soon as i deleted it from my pc, it reverted back to this:

Thanks
