Rail Mount Scope for AR15

I've had an electronic sight for my AR15 for a while now, but I'd like to get a scope for it.

I'd like 4x (4x-7x variable would be ok too) and preferably a red dot sight instead of crosshairs. Keep it around a few hundred dollars. I'm not interested in dropping $7400 on night vision equipped optics...

Any suggestions?

Look up the Trijicon website. They have some good stuff for m16 or ar15. You could also get a tactical scope and mount a small red dot off at a 45 degree angle so you could have a reg. longer range scope and a close up red dot if you wanted to. Ive seen it in a magazine and thought it would be pretty cool.

Aimpoint is good for a red dot sight. ALOT of agencies rely on the EOTech sights. Both base around $3-400 dollars and you can buy a multiplier...

EO Tech with Multiplier...

EOtech is also a great choice. Alot of law enforcement agencies around here use those almost exclusively. Do you want a red dot scope, or just a red dot?

Red dot scope.

Thanks to the rest of you as well. I have been preoccupied for the last few days, but I'll look into all the suggestions.
