Thats the ACTUAL temp here in Des Moines, IA right now as of 8:50 and with wind chill we're lookin at about -30.

-9 Here in southeastern Nebraska. I am more then ready for summer although by Sunday we are expected to see highs in the 50s bring out the boats and shorts! That is one heck of a heat wave if I do say so myself

Windchill of -51 at 5AM this morning. Now I am trying to thaw out a damn water pipe in my kitchen.

Its good to know that where I used to live is just as cold! I lived in Cleveland for three years and I've been back in IA for a year now. I love not having to deal with the "Lake Effect" snow anymore!

The temps here can't compare with all of yours, but we're at 18 degrees with a windchill of 13. We're supposed to go down to single digits tonight with windchill below zero. Tomorrow it's supposed to be even colder.
