Ontario has a custom plate program. You can have crests of hockey teams and words, but nothing dirty (or "cochon" as French Canadians say).
Nonetheless, my buddy with a '73 boat-tailed Riviera has the plate "4Q2".

We have special license plates out here in California also. However; we have to pay extra if we want anything above and beyond the plain white ones.

That's right. OK has a tag supporting the National Rifle Association. I'm waiting for the SKOAL tag to be released before I spend the extra $$.

In Tennessee there are alot of different tags out there as well this year we get a new stanard tag you have to pay alot more for the other tags if you want one.
